Disney Characters Screensaver 1.0

Let me start off by asking you a simple question: does your little one enjoy watching Disney toons, like Brother Bear, Aristocats, or 101 Dalmatians? If your answer went something like “you know that’s right!” then you need to take a look at a free Windows screensaver offered by Wallpaper Screensavers called Disney Characters Screensaver.

This is a simple slideshow screensaver made up of a total of 16 images depicting Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Brother Bear, 101 Dalmatians, Finding Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, and other Disney classics. The screensaver will display these 16 images in order or randomly and will use various transition effects when moving from one image to another.

The screensaver offers you a few customization options. The following customization options that you can access from Disney Characters Screensaver’s settings pane:
- Select the order in which the images will be displayed. You can choose between sequential, random and shuffle.
- Adjust for how long the images will be displayed; by default they will be displayed for 10 seconds. After displaying an image for 10 seconds the screensaver will move to the next image.
- Select what transition effects the screensaver will use when switching from one image to another. There are a myriad of effects to go through.
- Select the speed of the transition effects.
- Adjust the screensaver’s behavior. You can for example set it so the screensaver will exit only when you press the ESC key.
- Enable the “Start image painting on Desktop” option. When the “Start image painting on Desktop” option is selected, the screensaver doesn’t just show up; it uses a transition effect to pop in.

Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Disney Characters Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Tested the screensaver on Windows 7 and it seems to work fine on this Windows version as well.
Limitations – there are none since this application is freeware. You can use it free of charge for as long as you want.

• Changes Internet Explorer’s home page to knightstar.net; not your default browser’s homepage, IE’s homepage.
